Beautifully done.I like the tea cup stake idea,I’d love to try it.My neighbor has an old rocker she has planted in the past,I just need to find an old chair.Did you drill the tea cup or buy it already made?
Thanks, Tani. I bought the cup and saucer at a thrift store and bought the other stuff at a hardware store, including a masonry bit for my drill. Drilling was not easy. Still, I’m glad I used a real cup instead of buying a mass-produced “teacup birdfeeder”. This is a fun project for two or more gardeners. The directions are easily Googled. I think mine came from a P. Allen Smith website.
Wow, that’s quite a change. Looks great.
interesting blog. colorful.

I love love love this!!! Great idea I must have one in my garden…quick let’s go look for a relic!!:)
Your chair looks great! I love the color.
I just planted my two chairs last week and can’t wait until fill out.
Hope they look as nice as yours.
I love this idea! I’ve seen people planting in old boots before, but never in recycled chairs. Great stuff. I’m enjoying your blog!
