Annie’s Annuals & Perennials 2010 Mother’s Day plant sale and celebration. Mom’s got a free 4″ plant! Lovely weather, lovely refreshments, and lovely company.
Just beyond this flowerbed is the “Bored spouses and boyfriends” table. 😉
Hypertufa containers. Hypertufa workshop/party is on my to-do list.
Poppies and penstemon. Fabulous combo.
After Annie’s, we stopped at Annie’s propagator’s nearby open garden.
Heading home. Lunch consisted of delicious El Pollo Loco eaten in the car in front of the open garden. Great day.
Love Annie’s Annuals! A friend of mine, who’s a landscape designer, plans a Annie’s “fieldtrip” every year for a group of us.
Great photos!
Hello, you have a great eye for color in your photos… keep taking pictures!
I loved the idea of recycled pallet – lovely small vertical garden. Recycling things make the wste load on the planet so much less… Great photos! Thanks for sharing,
Ewa
Hypertufa?
I have never heard of that until today. I’ve got to look that up and find out what it is. Thank you.
OMB, I found your blog today and fell in love with all the lovely flower photos! Fabulous job!
Don’t you just LOVE Annie’s! What heavenly flowerbeds they have!
Just found your blog, Keep it up!
Loving the Hypertufa pots, tried my hand at doing them this year, but need alittle more practice.. Your photos are very nice.. Enjoy your gardening..
Love the succulents growing in the pellet. Do you have any pictures of what it looks like all grown in?
sitting on my patio glass of red in hand looking at your beautifull photos great blog thankyou
I think the use of the old pallet is brilliant! I’d love to see a mature one – a green living wall! I’m on a look out for a suitable pallet to have a go with I’m thinking strawberries plants in the top?
